Use
You will use this card for various administrative procedures including sending money overseas at a bank.
You will need to show this card when you start a job.
It can also be used as a form of identification and as a health insurance card.
A way of acquisition
The application form is mailed at the same time as the My Number notification card.
Bring the following to the municipality office of your address.

・”Photo for application”
Notification your card is granted will be mailed to your address in about one month.
When you get the notification, go to the municipality office with your ID (e.g. Residence Card) to receive your My Number Card.
