Overseas money transfers from a bank (at a counter)
For overseas remittances from major banks and local banks, you can often complete them over the counter.
① Go to the bank counter. The bank counter is generally open from 9:00 to 15:00 from Monday to Friday.
② Submit the required documents
③ Create an overseas remittance request form. Fill it out according to the guidance of the person at the bank. Get the recipient's bank account information (in English) required for remittance in advance.
④ The remittance procedure is then completed by the person in the bank and it often takes 2 to 3 business days for the remittance itself, and 3 to 5 business days including the time difference and reception time restrictions.
Overseas money transfers from an online bank
