- Legal/accounting services (e.g. Japanese qualified lawyers, judicial scriveners, certified accountants, tax accountants, etc.)
- Medical care (e.g. Japanese qualified doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, etc.)
- Research (e.g. researchers at research institutes, researchers, etc.)
- Education (e.g. elementary, junior high, high school teachers, etc.)

Period of stay
3 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years
Specific skills No. 1: 1 year, 6 months or 4 months, No. 2: 3 years, 1 year or 6 months
Technical intern training is 6 months or 1 year
Holding two different jobs
You can do this if both jobs are in the field of your status of residence. Or, you can work 28 hours a week for jobs that are classed as outside of your field if you have permission to engage in activity other than that permitted under the status of residence previously granted.
